What is SEL Assessment?

Social-Emotional Learning Assessment is a research-informed approach that measures student growth across five core competencies defined by the CASEL framework. It provides teachers with actionable insights to understand where each student is thriving and where they may need additional support.

These printable tools are designed to be administered three times per year -- at the start (baseline), middle (progress), and end (impact) -- creating a longitudinal picture of each student's emotional development.

Age-appropriate statements for each assessment
10-15 minutes to complete per student
Two tracks: self-report (8-12) and teacher-observed (4-7)
